Sparkly happy medallion

by adele on April 3, 2010

This gorgeous medallion stamp (in the new Autumn/Winter mini catalogue) is my absolute favourite new stamp! It’s one of those “all purpose” stamps that can be used as a subtle background and as a bold main image. So versatile!! It’s almost got a doily look about it. L-O-V-E  it!!!!

For this card, I stamped the Medallion onto vellum cardstock  using Versamark, and then sprinkled with white embossing powder mixed with dazzling diamonds. I sandwiched a band of Pink Pirouette cardstock between the kraft and the vellum and ran around the edges with my sewing machine.

If you’d like to order your own Medallion stamp it’s just $33.95 (plus postage). Just send me an email and I’ll take it from there.

Oooh, gorgeous! This is my favourite new stamp too. I hate putting it back in the case! I love what you’ve done with it, so sweet! :-)

Yep, I’m a certified member of the Medallion stamp fan club, too! This card is adorable, Adele – beautiful job. I’m very impressed that there’s no stray white embossing powder on the vellum! :)

One of my favourite stamps too is the Medallion and I love the effect you have done with embossing this in white on vellum and overlaying it on the card front. Great inspiration, I hope you don’t mid if I CASE this one sometime! TFS
